Not sure what PCI compliant means? Don't feel bad. Many merchants just like yourself are unfamiliar with the term and even less familiar with the requirements set forth within the world-wide security standard. This standard, mandated by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council, was created to help organizations that process card payments prevent credit card fraud through increased controls around data and its exposure to compromise. The standard applies to all organizations which hold, process, or exchange cardholder information from any card branded with the logo of one of the card brands (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc). Non-compliant merchants who maintain a relationship with one or more of the card brands, either directly or through an acquirer, risk losing their ability to process credit card payments and being audited and/or fined. Don't be one of these businesses! Find out if you are taking the necessary steps towards being PCI compliant by contacting one of our knowledgeable representatives today. 866-281-2220.
